Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
